Whoever wins the video contest wins $2,500.00 and is invited to attend a college football game. At the game the winner must see how many footballs he or she can shoot through a hoop in 30 seconds. Whoever throws the most footballs is the winner of $100,000. The contestant has to be at least 18 years old and a United States citizen.

Elks Club Foundation

This most valuable student award of $1,000.00 to $15,000.00 is given to high school seniors and the Elks Club gives out 400 awards each year. All you have to do is apply, although having a high GPA score can help you to win. There are no essays, no videos, nothing to do except apply, although you must go to college full time and be an applicant of a 4 year program.

Easy Scholarships, 2012 Spring Scholarship

This scholarship is an essay scholarship and you can win $1,000.00 toward college expenses. You must write an essay about one of the following topics: Grants for College, Paying off student loans, Scholarships and Grants for College, or FAFSA Hints.

Surfing Scholarship

The award for the surfing scholarship is $1,000.00. The qualifications include being a surfer on the east coast of the U.S., writing an essay and having 2 letters of recommendation. This scholarship is an easy scholarship 2012 for both males and females who are tall. You must join Tall Club International (TCI) to win this $1,000.00 scholarship. Guys must be at least 6 ft. 2 in. tall while girls must be at least 5 ft. 10 in. tall. Easy Scholarship 2012, the Dr. Seuss Scholarship

Dr. Seuss lovers, this is a $10,000.00 scholarship and it is also easy to apply for. It does require reading a Dr. Seuss book and writing a short essay about it. Just read “Oh, the Places You’ll Go,” write an essay and submit it to the Dr. Seuss Scholarship website.

Scholastic Arts Awards

This scholarship is open to artistic students who are in the 7th through 12th grade. If you are interested in going to an art college you can enter one of the pieces you have created. $10,000.00 is given to 15 participants and the deadline is December, 2012. The categories include: Digital art, film, painting, drawing, sculpture, fashion, jewelry, ceramics, photography, comic art, and video games.
